“Green” Building
Gardiner & Gardiner has been and continues to be purposeful in developing a team that can lead the industry in sustainable construction practices. We understand the goal is not to simply check boxes but to construct buildings that are socially, financially, and environmentally responsible. In our efforts to become a regional leader, we began with training. Gardiner & Gardiner now has 4 LEED Accredited Professionals on staff. These staff members are part of our business management, estimating and project management teams.
In addition to our LEED AP staff, all of our project managers have training and credentials in Green Advantage Environmental Certification. This certification exposes project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to best practices in green construction. We have extended our commitment to our subcontractors by sponsoring training in Green Advantage that resulted in eighty (80) participants getting trained.
