Description:
Gardiner & Gardiner provided construction management and design/build services for this 102,000 sf pre-engineered commercial/industrial project that included a 29,650 sf tractor shop, 24,690 sf vehicle shop and 2-story office and parts storage area with approximately 50 overhead doors.
The service bays are equipped with multiple cranes on common runway beams. These runways were designed to be an integral put of the pre-engineered structure. Adjacent to Andrews Air Force Base; the building is subject to special sound control measures in the office areas. This project is the recipient of the Associated Builders & Contractors, Inc (ABC) Award for Excellence In Construction-Commercial Project.
