      <title>Greater St. John Church</title>

	For the Greater St. John Church project, Gardiner &amp;amp; Gardiner constructed a 26,820 sf pre&#45;engineered metal building system sanctuary and administration addition. This included a 5,400 sf balcony area that seats 300 congregants. The main floor of the sanctuary seats 1,200 people, including the choir. High clerestory sloped ceilings accentuate the sanctuary area giving the feeling of a large, yet welcoming assembly hall.

	Additionally, Gardiner &amp;amp; Gardiner contributed to several design enhancements to help the Owner achieve the final result. This beautiful church is a perfect example of the functional and aesthetic flexibility of pre&#45;engineered metal buildings. Completed: August 25, 2010</description>

	Gardiner &amp;amp; Gardiner was the Design Build Contractor for this multi&#45;denominational 20,159 sf Chapel located in Ft. Belvoir, VA. The project consists of a central worship/activity area with Glulam arches, surrounded on 3 sides with classrooms, and offices. Construction is slab on grade, metal stud perimeter with brick veneer. The roof system is fiberglass/asphalt shingle and modified bitumen/EPDM. Flat roof structure is plywood web I&#45;joist. Moveable partitions and a pre&#45;fabricated baptismal pool were also installed. This chapel provides a truly multi&#45;purpose worship area for all religious denominations to rejoice. 	12,350 sf single story emergency veterinary clinic and blood bank, with 9 exam rooms, a large central treatment room, 3 surgery rooms, 2 radiology rooms, numerous staff offices and a large, comfortable reception/waiting area.

	Construction consisted of concrete slab on grade, steel frame, light gauge metal walls with split face masonry veneer, aluminum storefront windows and doors, built&#45;up and standing seam metal roofing.

	Situated on an 18 acre site with extensive storm water management facilities, a 24&amp;rsquo; x 600&amp;rsquo; paved entrance drive, and parking for 56 vehicles. Completed: August 25, 2010</description>

This dual process required a constant flow of information to the construction teams. 	Gardiner &amp;amp; Gardiner provided construction management and design/build services for this 102,000 sf pre&#45;engineered commercial/industrial project that included a 29,650 sf tractor shop, 24,690 sf vehicle shop and 2&#45;story office and parts storage area with approximately 50 overhead doors.

	The service bays are equipped with multiple cranes on common runway beams. These runways were designed to be an integral put of the pre&#45;engineered structure. Adjacent to Andrews Air Force Base; the building is subject to special sound control measures in the office areas. This project is the recipient of the Associated Builders &amp;amp; Contractors, Inc (ABC) Award for Excellence In Construction&#45;Commercial Project.&amp;nbsp; Completed: August 22, 2010</description>

	New construction of single story, 19,500 sf building, with a partial walk&#45;out basement including full service kitchen, bar, dining room, banquet rooms, lodge room, members room, game room and support facilities as well as site improvements. The structure is noncombustible construction, fully sprinklered, with 12 to 14 foot ceilings in the dining/banquet room, 10 foot high in other major areas, scaling to 8 feet elsewhere. Gas fired equipment was utilized for the kitchen and mechanical applications. Completed: August 19, 2010</description>

	The exterior of the building features exposed timber and faux stone.

	Gardiner &amp;amp; Gardiner was the Design/Build contractor for this 28,270 s.f., 3&#45;story health care and education facility consisting of masonry/metal wall panel veneer and a structural steel frame with both shingle and EPDM roofing.

	Interior finishes include ceramic tile, resilient flooring, carpet, lockers, cabinetry, painting and all coverings.

	The water line tie&#45;in required nighttime closure of Md. Route 2 and coordination with the SHA and contractors installing a nearby controlled intersection with related road widening. Completed: May 10, 2010</description>

	The goal of this project was to supply a new bank branch with modern conveniences while preserving the historical look of the residential neighborhood. Gardiner &amp;amp; Gardiner rose to the challenge by successfully demolishing and rebuilding the interiors of three 70&#45;year old row houses and seamlessly connecting these structures.

	To provide the bank with adequate parking, a garage and surrounding house were demolished and removed. Additionally, Gardiner &amp;amp; Gardiner skillfully addressed bio&#45;retention and storm water management issues on this constricted site with close proximity to the bay. Gardiner &amp;amp; Gardiner was honored with both Project of the Year and Excellence in Construction awards by Associated Contractors and Builders, Inc. Completed: May 10, 2010</description>

	Gardiner &amp;amp; Gardiner served as General Contractor for the construction of this beautiful, five&#45;story, 83,000 s.f. mixed&#45;use building with an attached four&#45;story 250&#45;car garage.

	The garage includes one basement level floor and four levels above grade. Additionally, Gardiner &amp;amp; Gardiner performed site work associated with this project.

	This stunning building has one of Annapolis&#39;s first Green Roofs, providing an environmentally conscious method of storm water management and energy conservation.

	This project is the recipient of the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC) Excellence in Commercial Construction Award. Completed: March 22, 2010</description>

	The main entrance of the auto collision and body shop utilized zinc wall panels built in a &amp;ldquo;fish scale&amp;rdquo; design. The exterior shop walls have platinum gray architectural panels. The office walls are textured stucco choice metal wall panels. The roof is a standing seam II aluminum coated metal panel system with a 6&amp;rdquo; thick blanket insulation. The eave panels are acrylic, translucent for natural lighting into the shop area. Inside the shop there are three interior paint spray booths and two paint prep areas, supported by the roof structure. The second floor has 5,600 sf of office space structure by American Buildings Company. The building sits on a &amp;ldquo;L&amp;rdquo; shaped 2.85 acre lot. Completed: October 01, 2008</description>

	The Barbaro Building is a two&#45;story, 9,560 s.f. building housing medical/dental facilities and office space.

	This building is structural steel and wood truss construction with a split&#45;face block exterior. Gardiner &amp;amp; Gardiner also executed all site work to include curb, gutter and sidewalk in addition to a 40&#45;car parking lot. Storm water management was achieved with the installation of four underground trenches.

	The pre&#45;cast water table feature installed at the building&amp;rsquo;s base adds to the overall aesthetics of this classic building. Completed: November 01, 2006</description>

	Horizons on the Bay is a 72 unit condominium, which consists of 1 and 2 bedrooms with a study, designer kitchens with ceramic floors &amp;amp; breakfast bars, cantilevered balconies, plus much more. The lobby has richly hued hardwood floors, a 2&#45;story stone fireplace and an inviting gathering area. Also on the main level is a library, conference room, state of the art fitness center and four retail/commercial units. Two of three elevators will deliver you to the panoramic rooftop featuring a pool with hydro massage, sunbathing deck, garden terrace, clubhouse and entertainment area. The site work was extensive as most of the site had to be back filled &amp;amp; compacted. The first major stage was the 600 auger piles driven 40&#45;60 feet below grade. The site space was limited as a tower crane had to be in&#45;place for the duration of the job and the concrete subcontractor mobilized (with its material for capping the piles and placing the footers and foundation) at the beginning of their journey of 8 floors of concrete columns &amp;amp; decking and the completion of 9th concrete deck, the roof. &amp;nbsp; Completed: January 01, 2005</description>

	Construction of a new automotive sales and service facility. This 10,000 sf Sales and Office area consists of concrete slab on grade, structural steel frame, masonry and light gauge metal exterior walls and built up roofing. The exterior walls of the Showrooms consist of storefront system from floor to an overhanging soffit. The exterior finish of the metal stud walls is E.I.F.S by Dryvit while the masonry walls are painted. Interior finishes include acoustical tile ceilings, painted drywall walls and carpet and tile floors. Bomanite concrete is used as a floor finish in the Showrooms where vehicles are displayed. Below the Service Area is a 21,000 sf lower level vehicle storage area consisting of concrete slab on grade and concrete exterior walls. A pre&#45;engineered metal building is used to house the Service Area, Wash Bays and Parts Department that total 21,000 sf. The floor of these areas is concrete over structural steel framework. Above the Parts Department is a Mezzanine Level Mechanical and Parts storage area. Completed: January 01, 2004</description>

	This was a design/build project meeting the program established by the Baltimore County Maryland Department of Public Works in conjunction with the Baltimore County Fire Department.

	The fire facility is a 9,000 sf pre&#45;engineered metal building structure with two central drive&#45;through bays, sleeping areas, kitchen, learning/meeting room, offices, exercise facility and fire equipment rooms. The apparatus bays are equipped with oversize overhead doors and a state&#45;of&#45;the&#45;art exhaust ventilation system. This project was awarded the American Building Company&amp;rsquo;s Excellence in Design award. Completed: October 01, 2003</description>

	Scope of work for construction of this new addition consisted of structural steel and metal stud frame, exterior masonry walls, decorative metals, elevator, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and finished interior to house 18,000 sf Science and Library Centers. Site work was completed by using our in&#45;house site development services and consisted of construction stakeout, grading and sediment control, complete site utilities and site concrete to tie&#45;in with existing campus features. This contract also included the installation of a 10,000&#45;gallon underground storage tank for the campus fire suppression system. Despite many challenges, Gardiner &amp;amp; Gardiner was able to complete this project before the start of classes and was recognized in the AIA Chesapeake Bay Chapter with an &amp;ldquo;Excellence in Architecture&amp;rdquo; Citation. Completed: July 01, 1999</description>

	This 2,600 s.f. single story restaurant was construction within an existing shopping mall. Gardiner &amp;amp; Gardiner mindfully conducted all construction and staging of equipment in a manner that did not disturb the surrounding businesses.

	This restaurant was constructed on a structural steel frame with masonry perimeters, featuring large storefront glazing and a drive thru window, all under a built&#45;up roof. Interior finished included tiling, cabinets and counters.

	Gardiner &amp;amp; Gardiner installed food service equipment in a commercial kitchen and exhaust hoods for ventilation of the kitchen area. Sprinkler and Halon systems were put in place as fire control measures. Completed: August 22, 1998</description>

	16,000 sf prototype Sales and Service Training Facility. This steel and wood construction project was a challenge of integration, with steel and masonry support system, including use of timber materials. Roof is a combination of parallel chord trusses, mono trusses and tongue and groove structural wood deck materials. The cedar facade, aluminum storefront, and glazed block tower details made all various trade interfaces critical to overall quality control. Completed: January 01, 1998</description>
